A Healthy Child Deserves a Healthy, Happy Smile!
At Windsor Pediatric Dentistry, we don’t see “patients” and we don’t just “treat teeth”: we welcome and care for each child as the remarkable individual he or she is!
Board-certified pediatric dentist Dr. Kadeem Bartley and our team love helping little smiles grow up bright and strong. Spending our days surrounded by children’s laughter and excitement, sharing in each kid’s life and adventures, and ensuring each little one knows why and how to keep their smile healthy — what could be more rewarding?
We are proud to be known as a kid-friendly and family-oriented office, providing gentle dental care with lots of smiles and love!
Our Atmosphere and Dedication
Dr. Bartley has designed and built his office with kids in mind. There are fun and bright colors, a slide and huge salt-water aquarium, plus plenty of toys and games to keep young minds engaged.
Better yet, each member of the team has been selected for their warmth, friendliness, and ability to connect with kids. It’s not unusual to find the doctor or a staff member crouched on the floor chatting and laughing with a toddler, or sharing a joke with their older sibling.
While we are very serious about providing high-quality children’s dental care, we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We expect kids to be kids and treasure each for who they are, and who they are becoming!
Likewise, we excel at helping anxious or fearful children feel safe during visits. By talking calmly and patiently, carefully explaining what will happen in a way the child understands, and then proceeding slowly and gently, we earn their trust.
For anxious children, or those who have difficulty holding still, Dr. Bartley offers several safe sedation options. Sedation — oral, inhaled, or general — helps a little one relax, and even sleep, through a procedure.
Helping Little Smiles Grow Up Healthy
Dr. Bartley and our team spend a lot of time teaching kids, and their families, about oral health. We talk about why it is important to keep the teeth and gums clean, as well as offering nutritional guidance and other education.
We also spend a lot of time on show-tell-do education, so children learn how to brush and floss properly, while offering plenty of encouragement and support. The earlier healthy choices are made, and positive habits established, the better: we want kids to enjoy optimal dental health and a bright smile for years to come!
